i would expect a hosting company to take the opertunity to advertise itself a bit on that sort of page, or at least have a link to pay for another years hosting or something.
? seems a bit strange to me

Yeah, it is kind of weird how they just put that out there without any kind of advertisement, but oh well. I've seen quite a few like that though...."The account of the site you are trying to view has been suspended. Please contact the billing/sales department immediately." I just seen that on another one, don't remember which it was though. Browsing AE learning material.
