Ok well i didn't know where to place this thread so if it isn't in the right place then can a mod please move it, thanks

Well i got my hands on my sisters camera and i decided to go out and take some pictures of textures around my neighborhood, most of em are tileable so i hope you put them to good use

They aren't bad, but most of these (with the exception of 1 or 2) are not tileable. They would leave an obvious pattern. Here are some tutorials for making tileable textures

For the love of God please put that first image in a thumbnail!

I agree none of the image are fully tileable, well at least not totally seamless.

There is also a tutorial some tileable textures in the wriiten tutorials section.

There is also some work that needs doing on the pespective,colour and light levels on some of the pics for
them to tile properly.

Cheers for the textures Andy. The first one at least will need some distortion correcting though. Quite fish-eyed is the lens on that camera.

No problem, im going to get somemore after when my sister leaves again hehe, ill take the fish-eye lens into mind when i take more pictures and also, i will try to get only tileable textures because now i understand em alot better
