| | | MAX: Creating a Death Star Surface
Some of you may recall the Death Star greeble set I released a few months back.
Well, I've gotten a few requests for a tutorial of how I created this set, so I've started working on just that: a video tutorial series showing the modeling of the tile set, and placing the tiles into a layout for a Death Star surface or a Death Star trench. When completed, this set will be available in the Free Tutorials section.
I'm starting this WIP thread to get some member feedback re what specific issues you might want to see addressed in these vids.

Having seen some of the video I can attest that the polygons in that second image scare me.

Brief status update: things are now officially a go for me to officially create this tutorial set as a 3D-Palace release. It'll be up to Cris whether this is for the general membership or the sponsor members.
