Gundam Paint Scheme

What type of paint scheme would you like to see implemented to the Gundam set?

If you choose "other", then state here what you would like to see.

Hi pasta!

I would go for the weathered metallic with scratches and stuff like this! It makes the Model look more interesting and .. Well just do it! It is better

Doing the plastic toy style would make the unwrap pointless. If you want people to do the unrapping part of the tut then you best give them a good reason or at least something where they can see the fruit of their labours.

Thankfully I'll be able to skip watching the 10 hours of you unwrapping this beast .

Looks like weathered metallic is a popular choice. I blame Warhammer (but it still got my vote, damn you Games Workshop!).

Don't even know why you took a poll on this one, Pesto. Surely you knew what the answer would be

Yes but, there is the "Other". That means any idea's that could look cool are welcome. I knew the metallic would be the winner, I just gave people a chance to say their thing.

Not really as there is all the decals to go on as well, which I will scan into my computer and upload them for all for us, when the time comes.

i have voted other. now here is my sugestion. after you unwrap it make two textures, one clean, no scratches, no wear and tear, straight out of the factory perfect. now make another texture which is scratched, damaged, burnt, worn etc. really battle hardened. now the really cool part is you can use a seperate alpha to blend between the new and damaged textures, which would allow for the ability for in different shots in an animation he could have more of less damage and all you have to do is edit the alpha.

I honestly think eagle's method would be pretty wicked.
