| | | Online MOD projects
Im looking for some site that host information on current or new MOD projects for games.
Im bascially looking to join a team of people that might be making a MOD on the source engine or a group of people that are making a brand new game.
Bascially as I sit here doing lots of tutorials I just feel like I would want to be a part of a project. Id link you too some sites but 3dkingdom isnt working at the moment so I can get the links.
Im hoping I am making sense.
An example would be this project http://omiqron.caveman-digital.com/
I think they where making a short CG video/film, but it was a bunch of people collabarating together.
I checked out the few posts on CG Society but they seemed to be wanting really good 3D artists.

As you might have read somewhere, I am working on a game project. The team consists of me and a programmer, we have been working together for 1,5 years now, but we just kind of started this new game. A site that hosts many game and mod projects is the "help wanted" section of gamedev.net forums

lol, i really want to join a mod project also, its just i dont have enough talent for any mods to accecpt me lol, i think it would be great on the portfolio, anyways, i hope someone will like my work

id love to start my own up. but my lack of knowledge for gamedev would be the down fall i think. unless i could get a team of people together.
Id love to remake system shock 2. Just a total remake, so bascially system shock 2 but with source engine or doom 3 engine graphics. I think it would breath live into the franchise of system shock, seeing as everyone wants system shock 3 but EA wont make it, instead we get Bioshock, which is not system shock 3.

i do keep plugging away at the tutorials here I love them . I will get the crux dvd one day when i get though the rest of the tutorials haha.
Also the thought of making a indepented 3d short with a group of people would be a really cool idea. So I could use some of those high poly techniques cris has been throwing at me through the tutorials
