I've just found this plugin called Fume FX from Sitni Sati.

It appears to be the ultimate "gaseous fluid dynamics simulator for 3ds Max"
Someone knows or have this plugin? what do you think of it?

Tad too expensive for me, but it looks nice, sorry couldn't help here, doesn't have a demo as far as I can see either.

I've never used it personally, but Allan McKay helped to develop it, so I've no doubt that it kicks ass  .

Yes, you are right guys. Too cool but too expensive... isn't there a way to simulate realistic smoke/fire/dust... with Max particles or something?

Yeah, it's called 'Deconstructing the Elements' by Pete Draper.
I can't believe it's almost twice as pricey as Afterburn.

That looks pretty sweet for what they quickly whipped up in that tutorial, might be worth the pricetag if you work in the FX industry.

Umm.. exactly what is that? Because I can't read any of it, it appears to be in some strange language.
Except for one link that says "FumeFX_full_for_3dsmax.rar"
Doesn't that mean that it is warez??
If not, can you explain what the hell it actually is?
