HTTP Email Client

Well ive been using windows mail so I can get the e-mail from my own website but I also wanted to hook up hotmail address up to it aswell, but for some crazy reason windows mail now does not allow HTTP e-mail to come though it. Which is crazy, MS not allowing their own hotmail accounts to be retrieved.

Anyways I wondered if anyone knew any ways around this using thunderbird 2, windows mail or a piece of software that support HTTP e-mail. I dont want to use windiows messanger live as its a piece of crap IM and I prefer to use Gaim or Pidgin as its called today, as it is a light and simple IM with no animations and childish crap like that.

i KNOW it's possible to get hotmail thru outlook.

do you have outlook or outlook express? what version?
