College Here I Come

Just got my acceptance letter to Utah State University (still waiting on scholarship info though), where I plan to go into Aerospace Engineering. Although it isn't hard to get in there it was a frustrating ordeal because my high schools registrar is incompetent so I missed the priority deadline for scholarships.

Good for you and good luck, I work as a designer in the aerospace field.

The 3D modeling you will be learning (most likely CATIA) is much different than modeling in Max.

As far as what you have learned in MAX, your ability you visualize and work within a 3D environment on a 2D screen will serve you well. But the techniques of design for manufacture as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) demands much more planning, vision and effort. If you get involve in design, it is work but also it is a creative outlet.

again,
good luck

Congrats Fome!

Too bad the admin screwup confused the scholarship process.
