Hi everyone, I searched for an "introductions" thread and couldn't find one so I thought I'd post this here. I heard about 3D Palace when 3D World reviewed the Obelisk DVD. Being a Dawn of War fan and also tired of badly written online tutorials I bought the Obelisk and started work on it. Only the other day, almost at the end of the modelling stage did I think to actually have a look at the 3D Palace website (It was my girlfriend who bought me the dvd).
Anyway I'm Tom, studying digital animation at Greenwich Uni in London and been using 3D Studio Max for the last academic year. Completed my first freelance job a while ago and loved it, and I'm hoping to work in visual effects when I graduate. Just thought I'd say hi everyone and hope you're doing ok  Tom Brown Online |

You seem like a friendly bunch, thanks for the good feedback. It's annoying about the text at the end of my show reel, the same thing happened with the credits of a coursework assignment I put on Youtube. It only does that after I've uploaded it so it must be something to do with Flash video, *grrr*
