no, digital art is the same as traditional art in that regard. you can only make something that looks amazing, but not perfect.

nothing can be without a flaw in any way. at least that's what lots of physics laws tell us.
but yeah, good to strive for perfection, anyway. it's like interpolating slopes to get the shape of a curve from straight lines, with enough iterations, you can get close to the real shape.
as for production vs. personal work, you do tend to have to make concessions in production, but that's only a time constraint thing, it's still good to shoot for perfection within that scope too. makes you faster and more efficient
