New virual Infections... Any Info?

Hi All,

Recently i was told a rumor about a couple of new viruses.... one is a minor threat I was told its a worm that wipes your hard drives through something in facebook. (Link was given Here)And the other is a virus that resets your hard drives to zeros, installs its own virus, and resets the voltages to an unsafe high level and fries your computer. There were even reports of it catching some houses on fire. There wast a link given to me on that one, so idk. to me the latter virus sounds really complicated, and really bad, also a little fictitious to me. So I was just curious to what you guys think and/or know about it.

Almost all anti-virus programs are about 1 - 3 days behind so unless you are glued to your PC permanently, surfing the web like a moron (download lots of porn, open unsolicited emails, click everything you see, browse with Netscape) you should be fine until your AV catches up.
