what is palace tv and how is it usefull to me?

Hi there,


I see all over the site this "Palace-TV" thing. And i wounder what it is ? and why should i watch/download it? what is the main reason for haveing it? i tend to (lately) avoide just going in and watching/reading stuff about modeling and 3d anymore because i have been feeling so boged in and confused by all there is out there. so can someone sell me on this tv thing?

err..absoloutly not ! it's free, we worked damn hard trying to make it witty and informative...maybe you should be try to sell me on reasons not to ban you ?

Well when i said sell me on it i ment that as a saying that usuialy means for someone to convince or tell all about something. I ment nothing insulting or the like i downloaded the first tv thingie and all it seemed to be about is the middle of a car modeling tutorial so i was confused. shiesh.

That's the pont really...why should anyone spend time convincing someone who is too lazy to do a search ?

to get anything worthwile (other than suffering the brunt of my verbage) out of this community you at least should have the decency to perfom the most minimal of research before asking anything.

please accept my apologies if i seem to be singling you out. you just happen to be the latestest in a long line of redundant and slightly annoying questioneers.

for eg . i just typed houdini into google and the 4th result was sideFX's site...from where i can download the apprentice edition, free videos, houdini specific forums, pricing etc.

well as for the houdini thingie i use to do searches on subjects and as i have said id other topics lately i have been feeling a bit boged over there are so many sites and all they list is the program and a price. i looked all over the 3d palace site for info on tv-palace and couldent find anything that told me specificaly what it was for and why i should watch it i even had seen that above link and re looked when i saw it listed here and all it is is a q and a list it says nothing about what it is for. and yes i downloaded the very first epsode and like i said above all it had was the middle of a car modeling tutorial so that confused me even more. I dont mean to sound like i am attacking or anything i just do appreaciate someone biteing my head off for asking a question. i am new here and so far if this is what the forums are like ill have to give it a second thought. no one wants to frequent a site that attacks you for asking a question and threatens to ban you. when i read your first post my jaw droped and i was stunned by the attack on my person this was my first post in these forums (im pretty sure anyway) i have only found this site not too long ago. :cry:

I didn't threaten to ban you. it was primarily to prove a point (i had no intention of banning you).

You downloaded episode 1 of tv palace...try watching it from beginning to end
and you'll be in no doubt as to what it is about.

well i started to watch it from start to finnish but all i get is someone modeling...no sound nothing..i did get the codec to be able to watch and head the tutorials but i still got no sound. Ill download it again and try to watch it all but if there is no sound it is really hard to keep up with @_@
