It depends really. If I contacted them about an ad for an internship or something along those lines, Then I wouldnt mind working for an internship for a bit. I couldnt do this for long, as I have figured internships are generally trial periods as well. so maybe 3 to 6 months tops, thats assuming though also I have no life and expenses, which is not the case anymore. So I wouldnt.
But also, if they contacted me.... then as was said before, they have seen my work, all 1 piece of it, and thought I was good enough but want to try to get around paying me. Stick it to them and turn them down and go back to negotiations and try to get some pay |

Most video tutorials on the internet are piss-poor (not chris' of course ) Comparing them to skills that you could get passed on to you from people actually working in the industry with proffesional workflows...is just....wow.

[sarcasm] but come on! people who do this for a hobby on the internet obviously have as much knowledge and experience as people doing this 10+ hours a day in a professional environment! [/sarcasm]

For a chance to work side-by-side with industry professionals, and learn from their wealth of experience - I would pay THEM.

actually, on second thought, not under my desk, that might seem a little weird. under the desk next to me... with a clear divider.

I would as a recent graduate I know how hard it is to even get an interview and it seems over the last two months 3D jobs had dried up in my area so getting some experience for free wouldnt be a great thing for me.

Well, I guess if something isn't used very often, they can get dusty...
