Hi!
I've searched the foruns (but something might have slipped me) and decided to post this:
- Olblue you were speaking of more "publicity" in blogs and so on... (You never told me if I could put your banner on my blog...) so why not use Twitter? It's free and has a strong community... 3dBuzz already uses twitter... some of my teachers use it and they have lot's of feedback... I recently saw a twitter message that raised more then 500.000 dollars (to social funds... see Macheist ->I bought one!)
So it maybe is an idea to follow, no? You could post some words now and then, specially when a new model in ready to be sold or to download for free...

It's easy to create and maintain your twitter account...
Do you want me to do it?

Don't confuse the man with all this twitter talk, he's old*, bald* and has enough trouble running the one site he has... *I appreciate these are not relevant to my point, however are always amusing to point out |

have one o the younguns here sign you up, blue. then tell em to get the hell off your lawn. I've caved and gone on facebook (added 3d-palace) and I got a twitter account that I can't nearly keep pace with. I think it'd be a hit with the kids.

I've seen quite a few businesses adopting twitter recently, Some were doing competitions where the followers tweeted a product that they had for sale and one person won a prize, Could be an idea for here, you could give away a comercial download and the people wanting to win tweet #3dplace and the link to the dvd, so all the people following the person who tweets will see a link to your product, suppose its only good if the tweeter has lots of followers.

HI!
When I posted I had entered in a cash raising that went online, achieved 500.000 dollars (give or take) and all the publicity was done trough twitter...
Twitter can be put to good use!
