PAY PER PROJECT

Guys I just wanted to put a feeler out to see if anyone would be interested in a pay per project sort of thing.

ie.

Cris could start a project that would last over say 3 to 6 months where he would release 1 tutorial per week (estimated).

He could do something like a childs room or a scene from toystory or something, anything really, I know I would be willing to pay the £3 per month for the pleasure of starting a project and following it to the end.

Please post your thoughts bellow, if we get a good response then Cris might consider it.

Thanks Mithandra

So you want to pay £3 for a on going project? Why not just pay £10 a month for membership sponser? I mean being a sponser allows you to download the dvds which are full projects.

P.S. Theres no need to bump a thread 5 hours after posting.

um, whats the point of paying 3 bux a month and waiting 6 months for a project to be finished where u can just wait 6 months and get the whole thing at once instead of being finished with one part and havign to wait for the other one

This was just an idea guys.

Then why subscribe to a magazine? why not just wait a year and just get all the back orders?

This was aimed at possibly increasing the revenue of 3DP as not all people can afford the Sponsore ship. This would allow Cris to do other things, hell i dont know but would allow the little poeple to give at least something who maybe cant afford or justify paying for the sponsoreship since they are just hobbists.

I know myself I would really love to do the Maya Corse over at 3DBuzz and have seriously considered it but since im also a hobbiest I cant really justify paying $250 for something i will never use appart from messing about at home with. I am sure a lot of people are in the same boat as me.

I bought the ATMT tutorial set from Cris and that rocks but I am only in it for the fun, I know I am not good enough to get a job in the 3D industry so this is my releif

This was in no way prompted or linked to 3DP, this was a thought i was going to ask Cris about if there was a good response.

Again it was just an idea.

Mithandra

I dont really think it would work, most people would just wait for the full lot to get it. Simply because it would be easier to manage in one go.

Tagger can only hope to improve
it would undermine the idea of free training, what this site is all about. i think dave has it at the right end. sponsorship realy isnt that expensive (and you dont need to bump a 5 hour old thread as well).
