The Challenge - Model and render a wintery scene
Maybe its a pristine winter wilderness, perhaps a raging blizzard or even the day the central heating broke down at the north pole branch of Cryogenics Ltd. Whatever you do, I want to have to reach for my thermals when I look at your scene.
All normal competition rules apply.
Competition start - 09:00 24th November
Competition ends - 23:59 31st December
You will present all of your concept drawings you make (if you make them) as well as presenting wips for each logistical part of your modelling. You may not use any pre-fabricated parts for your end piece.
You MAY use post effects to make it look awesome should you wish.
ANY 3d Application may be used - If your entry includes characters, Poser pre-fabriacted models are not allowed although you may import a mesh into Poser and use it to pose your mesh should you wish.
Any renderer is allowed.
Your completed entry should be at LEAST 800x600 res and posted on the last page of your entry thread. Include the name of your entry and your name in the thread title. All entry threads should be posted in the main competition forum

beginner to your entry thread to be considered. Judges reserve the right to migrate you to main competition if you are obviously not a beginner
