3D Crew Needed for Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Project

Good day everyone! I've gotten trained to put these threads in a specific format and it seems to work well so I'm sticking to it. Looking forward to hearing from anyone interested, when you do contact me please send me some examples of your work if you could!

Team name: Netflow Developments LTD

Project name: Paradise Lost

Brief description:

To give you a little idea it is a Sci-Fi FPS/RPG with a very prevalent post-apocalyptic overtone to it. Think Mad Max meets blade runner with a dash of 1984. As for the kinds of work we would be looking for it is basically anything from characters to vehicles to ruined out cityscapes, so the scope is pretty broad.

The game itself is set roughly 100 years in the future taking place after a devastating event has wiped out life on the earth. The player begins their journey on a lunar mining colony which was setup just prior to the near outbreak of world war 3 and has become the last outpost of humanity. The player eventually makes his way down to earth where the struggle and challenge of repopulating and conquering the earth begins, and the moral dilema's humanity must face in such a desperate time. As an FPS the overall look and feel of the game will be very down and dirty, we are really aiming for a dystopian future mixed with post-apocalyptic and desperate reality. For visual inspiration we are pulling heavily from Mad Max, Blade Runner, Chronicles of Riddick, BattleStar Galatica as well as philisophical inspiration from 1984, Star Trek: Deep Space 9 and again BattleStar Galactica, . It is our aim to make the gaming experience similar to that of Mass Effect, with the mechanics tweaked to have a twitch based feel along the lines of Crysis or FEAR. The kind of levels that will be the setting of our game will range from sterile and utopian sub-lunar environments to the ruined cityscapes of New York after a century of first neglect and Nature and now War. Inside of these will be a variety of characters, weaponry, and props to match, some clean and pristine with others being improvised and falling apart. To mix it up there will be hints at a freakish set of beings that are basically the outcome of a failed experiment in cloning and bio-mechanics gone rogue.

Target aim:

Fully Playable Demo as a proof of concept and then taking product to full commercial phase

Compensation:
this is a non-paying job and currently all of our artistic team are volunteers however our company is laying the foundation for a long term future business and are very serious about what we do. As of now though we do offer free hosting to all of our artists plus we spend a good deal of time showcasing their work to every art community we can get our hands on with our Artist Spotlight: http://www.paradiselostgame.com/spotlight. Which is growing in traffic every day and sends some of our prolific artists close to 100 extra hits a month to their homepages.

Technology:
We currently have a commercial license for Torque Engine Advanced (Game Development Tools And Software :. GarageGames) again to be used to as a proof of concept. We are pursuing more than one funding option and will more than likely upgrade the engine when said funding arrives. We also have licenses for a number of Torque engine tools.

Talent needed:

* Concept artists
* Digital Painters for Presentation Pieces
* 3D Modellers
* Animators
* Texture Artists

* Story Board Artists
* Level designers
* Sound Engineers

Team structure:
For a complete Team list and Biographies please go to Paradise Lost Game: Weekly Artist Concept Art Spotlight and click on the 'Dev Team' button at the top.

Those running the company, myself included have invested heavily to get this company off the ground and as for myself I have long since dedicated 100% of my working days to this project as it's Lead, so this is all that we do as apposed to being some side project that we work on in our spare time

After months of tweaking we have a sophisticated system of project management in place that allows me to keep track of the 100's of tasks and dozens of artists, keeping them all motivated and on track while maintaining visual continuity throughout. And after individually contacting well over 300 artists we have a core team of 15 concept artists right now that are producing about a dozen pieces every week as well as 1/2 dozen 3d modelers who have recently joined. My recruitment efforts are now branching out into 3D and level design full tilt and I hope to have a team of 12-20 3D modellers by the end of August and 3-5 level designers, which means I will no doubt have to contact enough 300

Previous Work by Team:
Again please refer to all Biographies in the above mentioned Dev Team Page for all members previous works

Additional Info:
Our company is laying the foundation for a long term future business and are very serious about what we do so if you are interested in working or have any questions please let me know and I would be more than happy to discuss the project further with you and answer any questions you may have.

Something else to add is that we have a full time programming team based out of Calcutta India that we use 100% of our funds to keep afloat.. They have been working extremely hard for almost a year now to lay the backend systems in place and now our task is to create the eye candy to lay over those systems.
