hello, is there any way i can rig an object so it follows the surface of another object when moved. For example iv made a cartoon eye with a pupil and i need the pupil to move across the surface of the eye without the pupil going through the white eye mesh,
any help would be great

a better way to do this would be to make spherical eyes as usual... set up your eye rig however you normally do it for spherical eyes... then add a lattice on top of that that deforms the eye and pupil together. you can make the eye entirely flat, conformed to a surface, etc... rotating the eye will still work wonderfully. but you'll get the effect you're looking for.

it has to do with the falloff of the lattice's effect given the bounding box. just up the falloff and you should be good to go.
