k this is something i have started on maya ...and the exterior renders are not bad but when it comes to the interior render of one of the bedrooms ...this is wat happens...i dunno why the big black squares appear on the wall...if i believe so it may well be a lighting problem...so help.....

it could be a lot of things but can you post your render settings and the light attribute

His name used to be Dreamsin3D or D3D for short. I figure if you have been a member as long as you have you would have seen him/remembered him if you met him before.

yeah dude and i was hoping he would help me... i have already made him my rollmodel for his atrocious interior renders....anyways i haven found a solution yet and even though i have deleted all my lights and tried a render it still aint solvable ...guess i will try applying everthing again and try

Well, my friend, architects and 3d archi modelers are different breeds. Hopefully by you wanting to be an architect and having done 3d archi, you'll have a little more patient with 3D modelers later on when you want one to model your building and your plans are all weird and we have no clue what you want

Architects have never been my friend as long as I've been in archi and dealing with clients. Hopefully, you will change all that!

As for your lighting problem, I'm not sure what to tell you. Is this Vray, Menstrual Ray or what? That would be helpful in dealing with your issues, that and your settings.
