ikhandle or bone

i am trying to attach the ik handle to a locator, but, the left hand, seems to be stretched too much, it twisted.

wht should i do with that????

i am still thinking the joint31 and joint26. i had adjusted the angle for setting the ikhandle.

the file is here, and the image.

Please anybody reading it correct me if im wrong.

Freudork, have you correctly set up the actual orientation of the joints before binding?? Because ive always found that to be something thats overlooked and can cause dodgy probs later on if not sorted out beforehand.

Local rotational axis if I remeber rightly, errrr....maybe in componant mode, I cant quite remember, but Local rotational axis is better to be set up by you rather than Maya doing it for you.

If I remember rightly (because right now maya isnt in front of me )

Go into animation mode, constrain, orient....... I think (unless its under another menu but you will be able to find it). Once youve found it, you should be able to rotate the individual joints accordingley, to prevent any dodgy goings on.

For me personally, Im not sure if its compulsary to do it this way, but I undo the binding when I set up the orientation of the joints then bind them back once youve finished.

I hope im being helpful
