anyone could give me any details on skin shader for software rendering?? i also need info about mental ray skin shader. thx.............

miss fast skin is probably the way to go for a nice sss shader in mray. if you have maya 2k8 then its nice and easy to set up. before you had to create and setup the lightmap on your own, now it will create and link one for you in the new version of maya. theres also some shaders already set up that you can download from www.highend3d.com . though i tend to stay away from their skin shaders and create my own, if you are looking for something quick and easy, they might work for you.
