For what renderer? Mental Ray, V-Ray, Scanline?

In Mental Ray I would just choose the Arch & Design material and choose the leather preset and it will give you a pretty good leather material.

With either renderer if I were to make a leather texture myself I would either try to create the bumps and such with a procedural map like smoke or noise, or for an even better result find a nice leather image of leather on the web and use that as my maps.

Also, with 400 posts you should know that the moderators on this forum don't look too kindly on abbreviations like thx. And me personally thinks 1 dot is enough to end a sentence.

I would assume that it is Mental Ray, as its is in the Maya Forum
I dont tend to go too hard on his spelling/grammar as he is from Asia and his first language is not English.

As for the leather. A blinn shader as the specular needs to be quite bright and large, so the plastic attributes from a blinn should do quite well here. Diffuse colour is as needed for the colour. As for the displacement, not sure how to implenet that inside of Hypershade, but you would need a map with a Cellular type structure, and block out the larger inprints of the leather, then layer ontop of that smaller less pronounced cellular maps, gradually building up a surface, and adding cracks if you want an older type of leather.

Or find some leather you like, take a photograph. Take that into Photoshop, take the perspective out of the image, then dodge and burn area's to make the picture look more constant in lighting (or add masks and use brightness /contrast), then offset that and tile it. Destaurate the image, then use levels or curves depending on which you prefer, and create a greyscale image from it to use as a displacement map for the leather shader.

I created one for mayas default renderer a long time ago. Did it using several blend nodes to add different layers of texture. Funnily enough there is an actual leather material preset in maya, I used that as part of my shading network. Looking back at my texture there are plenty of tweaks that could be done but it served well for what I neded it for.
