Please help How to make path deformer animation?

Dear friends,,,

please help me ,,, I don't know how to make this animation.
I have one object (sphere), and I have a path (line). I want to animate this object and move along the path, and the object become similiar with the path. so it's not just move along the path, but the object is deform and the shape of the object will same with the path.
please help me.
