Hey guys, I haven't been on here for awhile. Working really hard to graduate next quarter. My website is under construction. Let me know what you think of the layout and the 3d work. Thanks.

Really cool, style, layout. No messing direct to the good stuff. However I personally would'nt put it online in construction. Add a demo reel, add some 2d stuff, then put it online, and just add stuff as you go.

i agree, really funky style, good stuff, but i also agree you should get rid of the under constuction sign, even if you are constantly adding to the site putting an under construction site make;s the whole thing look amateurish. personally i also think you could get rid of the "i will have more updates as i do more projects" sentance. for the same reason, its expected on portfolio websites for them to be constantly updated as you work on more projects.

you have some great stuff there,

if you dont have a demoreel or resume dont put a button there, even if you are going to put it there, if an employer sees the button and it dosnt work, it just reminds him that you havent got one yet. no need to remind him.

I really like your site, it has a nice layout
but what i dont understand is why its opening an other window with your 3d models pictures.
I mean thats what most people wanna c. Why dont you put al pics in the layout u have.
The layout of the 3d models looks kinda bad compared to the main page layout

Also i think you could make your fonts a lil bigger
Hmm and now that a look at it again, it looks like u made your page 4 800x600 resolution screens
Thats kinda small to, people who work with 3d or are interested in it, most of the time work with big resolutions
At the moment i think a resolution of 1024x 768 is the standard internet resolution
but u can even bigger if u your site is just targeted at people who use 3d

if u do this you'll be able to put your nice 3d model pics in your main layout 2
and of-course this counts for your demo-reel page as well

Hey Dream, i see that you go the Art Institute, what city? I go to the one in Phoenix. You look like you are in the Game Art program. I'm in animation.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I go to the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington Virginia. I am majoring in media arts and animation. For the main page I wanted to put everything on there but I don't know how to. I don't know how to keep the same layout and have the pics load. My website address is now:

well if you are building it in dremweaver or any other program. I would use CSS- cascading stile sheets to make a stile for whatever you want so you wouldn't have to remake everything. The only thing that i don't like is whenever you clikc on the enter gallery button you get a plain html page with images on it. What i would do is just copy the homepage and change it up to make it a gallery. So instead of that picture link you could make a flash actionscript and make a scrolable gallery or something like that.
