I think your modeling is really nice, but your lighting needs some serious work.
On the interior animation, its so dark, especially the pool scene, you can hardly see whats going on

yes you are absolutely correct.. i had never done anything with lighting before, that was my first real attempt.. and i just let it render to see what the outcome would be...

however, since that video, i have taken a crash course in lighting, and now all is well, i will post up new renders in due course, when i have the time to make them!

I think as a start, inserting a Skylight (anywhere) and enabling Final Gathering in the rendering options (MR) can make models look a lot better and when I first realised that it really wet my appetite. Try it on your outdoor scenes first perhaps.
