If you are a new or shy 3d artist (or even traditional or photoshop) then you can make your WIP thread in here if you like so that you can "Buddy up" with a Mentor.
Buddying with a mentor means that you will be getting help from an individual who has some skills that hopefully they will be able to share with you in order to assist you in completing your project - whether that means they are encouraging or outright assisting, either is good when you are wanting to get your first public work in progress out there.
So, how do you start your WIP thread and find a mentor?
Simple. Just post a thread - state what you aim to do in the thread, your goals and so forth. A Mentor will hopefully step up and offer to partner up with you.
What are the rules on mentoring?
- No flamewars
- Only email or messenger your mentor if your messenger says its allright.
- Post your work in progress on this forum in your thread please. Thats what its here for.
- Only one mentor per person.
Thats all there is, its pretty easy to follow and I hope that this will encourage you to post and make some great work in progress threads.
