Interior Modeling - Anyone?

Hey all, Recently i took a turn and from modeling complex models like robots and machines i started to model interiors. That is why i need a mentor to tell me everything about interior modeling. I really enjoy creating my own interiors because i have a lot to relate to.

- Some basic furniture techniques
- Some spline tricks
- Creating textures, leather, glass - ( I HAVE NEVER TEXTURED BEFORE SO I AM A NEWB )
- Lighting the scene

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope someone can help me and i would really appreciate it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can contact me on HERE or you can send me an email at : arturasp88@gmail.com

Thanks

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Olli is a mod of this forum so I'm sure he'll help you out. I didn't see the tutorial in the free part, might have overlooked it or it isn't there. You can get it from my site in my signature as well.

edit** Its there. The picture was just taken out or something.

lighting differs from interior to interior... so you have to get used to it... to understand it, if you want to obtain photo realistic(or close to realism) images, understand the lighting, and learn to texture

see the thing is i really have trouble understanding texturing and lighting --- i know how to make a clay render and all hat stuff but if it is more complex than that....... i really need to find a tutorial that explains how lighting works and texturing.

If you use Vray, you can check this 2 sites.
but also, lighting in architectural visualization also requires you to look the real life lighting, the effects it creates and stuff like that. Also in this field, you will find that most experience is gathered by experimentation.

For some light tutorial, check this page
http://lakehao.home.comcast.net/tutorial_intro.htm

for some material/texture understanding:
