Sci-fi battle scene - mentor needed

Hi guys,

I want to make a sci-fi battle scene (I use 3DS Max, Photoshop, etc). I might post some sketches. The concept revolves arround this guy here:

as the protagonist, blasting a mech, that is the antagonist. I intend to poppulate the scene with some low-detail power armor and tanks, to create a busy, chaotic war atmosphere. I want to make an environment of war-torn city street, to be composited on a 2D backdrop. I have the idea for the mech, need to draw and then model/texture it. I have knowledge and a little experience in making special effects with pflow, FumeFX, Afterburn - I intend to use it. I am not a noob - I feel comfortable and adequate in all the programs I use - I need more artistic quidance/skills then technical. As you see, my protagonist is almost ready, maybe I'll do some seam painting, but otherwise it's cool, I think. So the project involves concept design, composition and staging, texturing and lighting, a little rigging. Anybody keen on mentoring?

Cool I've started drawing lessons, so let's hope I will be able to give beter sketches with time The protagonist you've already seen, the mech is at a volume study phase, i'll post soon.
