Hey guys, I wanted to start a new project on modeling a mech or robot. I already know that there is a dreadnnought tutorial in the free section but It was too easy for me. I'm planning on making a high poly model.
So for this project I would like someone to mentor me on how to do this and someone who would not mind helping me along the way if I fall into any problems. Also a couple of refs and images of your favorite mechs would be nice.
Nothing to hard though, making something around the novice range.

I do not have the time, or the skill however I would recommend the Dreadnought 2 dvd if you can afford it. X-mas is not to far away maybe you can make it a gift to yourself? http://www.3d-palace.com/cgshop/prod...products_id=44
It will be very helpful and sounds like it is exactly what you are looking for.
Or the Crux, or the ATMT.
If not, hopefully someone will guide you to the wonderful world of mechs.

Man I cant wait to make another mech - Im actually considering making a Crux 2 where I make a fully mechanical pilot for inside the mechanical Crux  |

sounds good, but which one is the best? The crux is a little too expensive as I am in the U.S.
True Christmas is right around the corner and I was thinking of getting one of these. But, in the meantime I want to have myself a little project.

now the only question I have is should I get the atmt, crux, or dreadnought. They all look incredibly nice. And helpfull.
