3DS Max Pivot moving problem

I use a lot of effects and changing of the angle of my models and every now and then I get an error that doesn't make the vertecies points or whatever go left or go right etc instead they go in a random direction and don't seem to reset or change even when i align pivots etc to the world.

I think its because you've got "Constraints" set to "Normal" under "Edit Geometry", set it to "None" might do the trick. I've had that probably a couple of times without knowing it.
