And hey, at least he's trying, and doing the work himself. He's not asking us to do it for him, like they do on the Autocad forums. We get kids there all the time saying "Help, my assignment is due on Monday. Can someone please create this drawing for me?" That's what really gets my blood boiling. I'll help you work through a solution, but I certainly won't do anything for you.

Dont get sensitive. I repped the guy and told him 'if you ask the questions, the answers will come'. I didn't shame anyone. Maybe I did you, which is why youre getting defensive. I help ALOT of people here. And if sometimes I do so in a sarcastic manner, then call me part of the Palace crowd. Its no different than the random treatment I got when I joined here. Call it hazing and making it thru it to become part of a pretty decent site.

Its really just a sign of laziness. There have been a plethra of questions on here and every other forum that could have been easily answered if they only used the search button or read the manual. If the guy/girl really wants to learn then he/she will take the time to read the manual or follow a few tuts before embarking on his/her own project.

This forum can get brutal sometimes, but its really nothing compared to maxforums. Those guys are without mercy and don't care who they offend.
