| | | zbrush3 screen renders/movies
Hi all, I am looking for some advice on how to render a screenshot in zbrush 3 much like one available in max. I can't seem to find anything on how to do this. The closest I have found is exporting a turntable, but unfortunately, whilst I can view the movie in zbrush when I try to export it as a .mov file I have the message "cannot open zmovie file" and then the programme crashes. As the model is over 2 milliion polys max runs out of memory when I try to import it. It's a bit annoying as I have put many hours into the model and would like a render to put in a portfolio. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Al

there isnt a renderer for zbrush as such, the "renders" you see taken from zbrush are normally just screenshots, you can make them look pretty by changing settings for things such as anit-aliasing, i dont much in the way of in-depth details so thats all i can tell you
hope i helped

zero_hour is right. It has no way of making screenshots, ecept the printscreen button on your keyboard. Also, don't try to import the highpoly models in Max if you don't have much, much RAM (I think 4 Gb would suffice, but I'm not sure).

If you mean get the screenshot, all you have to do is hit the 'printscreen" button on the top of the keyboard. Then open MS paint or Photoshop and paste.
If you mean get more ram, checik out newegg. They have good prices.
I hope that helps.

or if you mean set it up so the screenshot looks pretty, go over to the pixalogic forums, there loads of hints and stuff over there
if you mean get the screenshot im pretty sure theres a build in version of max's "capture viewport" which will let you get the screenshot directly and save it
