Hello,
Does anyone have a spare HDRI of the sky he could share?
I looked around on the net and most of the 360 degree sky views are either paid (too much for me post credit crunch) or the link is down
The idea is to put the view onto a half-dome in Maya 2009 64 bit. Then do the sun with directional lights.
My other question is....how do I get the picture (I am using a test jpeg at the moment) to show in the persp view? When I use a lambert or surface shader, then attach the pic by using the colour swatch in "attributes" I can not actually see the picture - not even when rendered. This means I can not use cylindrical mapping of the UVs to position the picture how I want it.
