qavorq smells faintly of something similar to wee
copying uv maps
I have several containers of same dimentions and have uvmapped one of them. I was wondering if there is a way to copy the uvmap to the others without having to map each one? I know as they are the same size I could always just delete them and clone the mapped one but I was wondering if the mapping can be copied over?

Are they Identical? If so you should be able to copy and paste the UV map from the 1st to the others without any probs, if not, in a word No.

yes they are identical. I cloned them originally from the first one I made. Now Ive finally made the attempt to uvmap for the first time and thought Id just copy the map over

in your modifier stack, right click on your unwrap, copy, click on your next identical object, modifier stack right click paste. Your good to go

Thank you. Now just one more question. How do I upload an image to here for folk to look at? Can I upload direct from my pc or do I need to go through someone like photobucket?

when you post a reply, scroll down, click on manage attachments, select from your pc
