I totally agree with that! I started using XSI after watching xsi tutorials available right here, on 3dPalace. I just love Zerflag's tutorials. Without the "Wipeout!", I wouldn't touch XSI with a 6 feet pole!

well here's another xsi fanatic signing in. I've had a year off my 3d hobby as I had my final year of high school and I really didn't want any distractions, but I'm back and will make it my life goal to promote xsi on this forum.... well maybe not my life goal but at least an objective that I may consider pursuing sometime in the future...possibly.

Anyway, what I liked about 3d-palace was the amazing tutorials the cris has made regarding mechanical and building works. Even if they were designed for max, the workflow he uses was really quite useful and fairly easy to port to xsi. Good tutorials like that I found to be fairly scarce on the internet.

Anyway, vive la xsi.

Heh, even so, I mean lately I haven't done anything. And let's face it, the goblin tut was a flop 'cause I never finished it. Thanks for the compliments, though.

Well... I guess I'm kind of an old-timer (I am a Senior Member, after all ), but I haven't gotten around that much, so most people probably don't know I'm an XSI user. So, uh... hi! I'm an XSI user.

As for the Goblin Tutorial: it was an excellent character modeling tutorial, and I plan on getting started on it within a couple of weeks. As for it being finished... anyone that watched it 'till the end knows that there were supposed to be like... 10 more parts.

As for more traffic on the forum... how about a tut for character texturing, and a tut for character animating? Right now we have many modeling tuts, and texturing here and there, but I think that with the addition of those two, we'd have a solid menu.

I'd actually make one of them... if I could. Alas, I don't know how to texture or animate a character.

I use XSi i got XSI 6 still got to use taht version tho

College we using it.
and Max 8 (no budget for 9 since we got XSi 6 Advanced this year).

Although never posted nothing in XSI around since i was using the XSI 3.0 EXP version where its got this anyoing watermark on the rendering.

PS i dont like 3D Max so much plus there is too many ppl in the industry here by me who uses that application.
