Problem

Hello everyone , i'm from Romania . I have a big problem with my XSI 7 . When i save a scene and try to open it it's shows an error , something about dotXSIConverter.32.dll or the library is not found , so i can't open my saved scene . Plz tell me what should i do ?

Hello Zerflag , i'm running with 32 bit , i think i found my problem , my license manager is was quarantined in my antivirus chest , now i'm unistaling and install it again and then i will see if it' working.

dotXSIConverter.32.dll look for this thing. it should be in your softimage install directory \application\plugins. if you also have a dotXSIConverter.dll in that file, then rename that to dotXSIConvert.dll~ or something along those lines. there is probably a plugin conflict between the two of them.

that's what i'm saying, there's a dotXSIConverter.32.dll and a dotXSIConverter.dll. both are installed depending on if you're using 32 bit or 64 bit xsi, but they cause conflicts with each other because the default way it handles the plugin is to try to load both of them. so just rename the dotXSIConverter.dll to dotXSIConverter.dll.OLD or something and then you will not have that plugin conflict.
