Uboat VII Class IX-B

I plan on taking her out to sea do expect some more renders of her, I found it very frustrating modeling this beauty mainly because of the limited detailed reference material I had. Once again I ran into the issue of many different classes of uboats where they look similar to each and that kind of throws you off a bit. So what I did I took reference of a model already completed and just modeled as I saw it.

The downside to this was were they accurate? Most probably not, if I wasn't strapped for cash I would purchase models and work from there, atleast then I would know that they're pretty accurate but in the end really when you think about it, I'm modeling for fun, it's not going to be used in hollywood or some history channel so in that respect historical accuracy is not that important but it is a personal preference and a code that I like to follow, unfortunately like in this case it's not always possible.

Ok enough ranting from me I hope you like it.

Yeah it's a difficult one for me cause I like them all I just didn't know which one to choose cause they all set a different mood, I'm doing one more and I will quits with this. The next scene it's going to be a storm brewing up the only hard part is giving the ocean the right colour.

ok here is my last renders of this boat the first pic obviously it's pouring, the second pic the rain has stopped or you could think of it maybe the storm has reached it's peak and it will be rain anytime soon and the third pic it's starting to clear up.

I don't know but I think their machinery has a lot of appeal, they were the most technologically advanced nation of their time. It's a pity they had an idiot for a leader they could of been easily a superpower maybe till this very day. They even invented the flying saucer it really is amazing how advanced they were but all for the wrong reasons. The allies stole most of their ideas, they had german scientists working for them even well after the second world war, it's all documented. For me I just like modeling no matter what it is but I will be doing another because I just bought the ultimate reference plans to the uboat VIIA now I can model this as was originally intended.

Art should not be used for political statements which I make none and don't care about politics and no one should take offense to it either, art is either a new concept (something that someone invents e.g.car,bike etc) or a reproduction of something that exists or had existed. No political statements no allied or axis movement just plain old art. Just the way I like it.
