Baneblade Part Deux

Kids were whining about not seeing a WIP for budweizzer's Baneblade so I thought I'd chuck up what I've done so far on mine an continue from there.

Roughly a weeks worth just doing a bit each day or 2. Plan to fully texture it and add loads of mud and grass splattered around to make the final piece more interesting/realistic.

Not sure what the progress will be like as Gears 2 will be at my door either later today or tomorrow ツ

Bits still blocked in/half complete/missing etc

It looks very good. It's weird to see how our models look the same. I never did a project when someone else was doing it too

ha, me neither. Should be good to see what we both come up with for textures and a scene.

Little bit of progress on detailing the back. The CoD5 beta hindered progress a fair bit, ha.

Done the barrels, vent underneath, started on the fuel things underneath(will finish tonight), cut in the separators and add bolts to the main track cover and finished off the secondary cannon and its detail.

Prolly another update a lil later.

edit: Biro, you left 3 and a half minutes early, tsk ツ

Finshed up the barrels and the pipe things underneath. And no, I haven't been working on them all this time, ha, its just been a VERY casual day of work. Think I may hit it hard tomorrow, depending how I feel, and get the modelling finished. See how it goes.

I ended up making my own eagle as when I tried to import budweizzer's it came in all jaggy as it wasn't the original vector paths. As my inet picked up I went on another search and found it's called the Imperial Eagle, so picked up the image from wiki and did a quick run around with the pen tool in PS.

haha ツ

Intended to mash it up today but got up late, went for a much needed beer run and sorted out my new Hard Drive, which took way too long to format. Also found that I'd been running my normal HDD at half speed all this time, ha, go me.

Anywho, got a bit done in the last few hours. Made the barrel holder, little hatch thing on the back, steps or w.e they are by the side turret and detailed the main cannon base.

Gunna go play some more Gears 2 ;p
