Very cool Kitt! I just recently watched some of the Firely series and the Serenity movie. Never saw any of it, or the ship until recently. I will definitely follow this one as well. That has got to be one of the coolest spaceships I've seen. I may have to try it one day myself.

Thanks! I'm about half way complete I think. This shot is mostly focused on the pipe work, which was my favorite part so far, that was added to the larger singer area. There's only half of the cowl here as I haven't reached the symmetry point to wrap it up, but I just wanted to document my progress. |

I've been fussing around with this neck shape for the last two plus hours. I couldn't seem to size this thing in a scale and shape that I liked. I think this is what I'm going with. I'm about to hit week 3, I think? The days and weeks have twisted together in my brain into some time-space vortex. I don't even know if I've slept, woke up, or even gone to work since I started this project? |

Thanks! I've been working my ass off on this thing, non-stop. I've decided that I really love building spaceships, so far, more then any of the other things I've done up to this point.

Damn, that's looking good. I'm convinced I'm going to this before the end of the year. Maybe after the APU. A dude at work keeps bugging me to do it. I'm going to make him wait.
I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with just about every set on this site. They are that good.

I like this, I wish I had the time to start on this one instead of having it on the shelf getting dusty, don't think my skills is good enough either...

Looks great! When I did this a while back, I had a devil of a time with the neck. Congrats on having the courage to try the alternate/more complicated version!

Thanks! I just followed the teacher's guidance. Any accolades should be directed towards him. (Nothing wrong with a little student ass kissing. Right?)
Did you know that 3D-Palace is bad for my health? And my social life? I've burned through 3 cartons of butts, 3 boxes of Keurig coffee (24 cups in a single box), and blew off two different chicks to do this model. WTF? They may find me dead soon, sitting in my computer chair with Wacom pen in hand and a cigarette in my mouth.
