| | | Ultimax Apocalypse
Just a WIP for the Ultimax Apocalypse. Lots of work still to do. I want to add a lot more cables throughout. Also, a lot of geometry is not properly in place, (lots of gaps to main body from smaller pieces). Going to redo the front top piece, the extrusions go in instead of out like the rest of the ship so it is not consistent with the general look. Where the hydraulic cylinders recess into the ship, that part also needs a lot more detail. Critiques are always wanted and welcome. Thanks. |

Unfortunately stopped that before uni kicked in coming up to two years ago now.
However, I am looking forward to seeing what else you do with this ship, it's a little hard to get perspective on your own model, so it's very interesting when someone adds/changes things.

Looks like Maya is the red headed step child on this site...oh well, still a great site for modeling either way.

Here is a small update. Tried modeling a skull for the iron cross but came out horrible, actually wasted a lot of time on that. If anyone knows a good tut on modeling a skull please let me know. Trying to go for a meaner more battle tested look.

Tried something different for the gun support/connection. Not sure if it fits the general look, went with a gear type system for rotating the gun.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Starting to get a lot of memory errors. My old PC can't hang much longer.
