The Newcomen steam pumping house at Elsecar near Barnsley, Yorkshire.
Built in 1797 the last surviving Newcomen engine still at its original location.
College project. I'm hoping to get it animated and with some Realflow effects.

Nice project. Dont see many industrial wips around. Looks neat and tidy, mesh looks good, and looks very accurate. I come from a long line of engineers so, I tend to love seeing stuff like this. If Fred Dibnah was still around, he'd love it too.

I really like details you put in that project so far. Will it be fully textured with old paint and rust everywhere?

Aye Fred Dibnah. There'll never be another like him. Sigh.
Anyway yes I am going to texture it. Trouble is it's such a godawful yellow colour. Must be an early form of high-vis paint.

It's in a pump house so that has to be done as well and also should have twin beehive boilers with a tall smokestack.

Thanks for the replies Guys.
I've been totally slogging me tripe out on this all week so here's an update.
The mechanical bits are just about finished. Next the building.
(It's on the first post which updates itself as I just keep replacing the files)
