Needles

Well I said I would start to post more so here it goes. This is some stuff I'm doing for work. The 2 syringes are used to inject medicine in the eye of a cow so that it is slowly absorbed over a few days time. The other one is used to get a culture from a cow's trachea. You use the metal part to create a hole for the long white tube (most of which is off screen). Then you stick the syringe to the end of the tube and inject a liquid. it is immediately drawn back into the syringe for a bacteria sample. I know nasty stuff but that's what I get to deal with all day. Let me know what you think. I still am working on the textures a bit because they are not quite were i want them to be. All in all I think that they came out really well.

This is my first time posting a picture so this might take a few edits. Ill try to get it up as fast as possible.

All of the textures are procedural right now. They are basically raytrace with some falloff maps here and there. I still need to add the hash marks for the measurement. and that I’m not sure how yet. I’m thinking a displacement map and a bit map with an alpha should do the trick. Unless someone has a better idea for me .
