BGW spiral stairwell

This is an interior shot of the BGW building I saw in the New Work Spaces book. I loved how it looked, so I though I would give it shot. Its very early in the project but I was really pleased on the outcome of the stairs, so I wanted to show it. The hardest part was getting the small rails on the on the spiral to line up with the ones on each floor. Hope you like it so far

nice. A friend of mine has that stairwell design in his house -- except there are no railings! I hate walking up that...

Do you plan on adding more detail to the floors and perhaps making the rest of the building itself?

As your best pal, I take full responsibility for infecting you with the archi virus. Of course, it looks great! ... which means getting caught looking over my shoulder and cheating on the tests means you learned well.

Still nice modelling there Billa, but your stairway to no-where, doesnt beat the Simpsons "Escalator To Nowhere" lol.

Nice and tidy as usual, and with all those cylinders/splines, I imagine the poly-count is creeping upwards quite nicely

The staircase leads from what I gathered by the image reference was that it connects the 2nd floor to the 4th floor with an almost ''hovering" staircase. You should post the reference Billsy.
