Male Mesh

Hey,
It's mee again. Im back. Been busy making a basic male mesh, which in the future ill scupt to create my models. I know it still needs alot of work, and the proprtions may not be correct, this is because im working from an incredible small figure. Its also hard to see how the mesh flows in the groin area. So ignore proprtions for now, ill scale them better once the topology is created.

Thanks

Looks good, though you should really fix the proportions.

Surely if it's for sculpting you wouldn't need to define the muscles, as it's a lot easier to do that in ZBrush or Mudbox or whatever. I think the level of detail needs to be in the middle of images 3/4 and 5/6.

Yeah but this is also a university project. I need to do majority of the work in maya, however i can tweak it abit in mudbox. Its an organic modelling exercise to learnt to use maya, ill have a sculpture section later.

Ah right, fair play, should have said.

This: "Been busy making a basic male mesh, which in the future ill sculpt to create my models" gave the impression you were making a general mesh that would be used to sculpt a number of future characters.

How come you're doing Uni stuff now? I finished like a month ago.

do schools really let you turn in assignments that are based off of tutorials? i mean... that's a bit like michelangelo holding your hand while you sculpt the david and then calling it your own work...
