That's the working title of a short I'm hopefully going to make and I'll just dump all my W.I.P's here. It's gonna be made using 'in-game' assets rather than high-poly ones. I'm going for something that's a mix between Team Fortress 2 and Doom 3. Hopefully boards soon, but until then...



I'm working on a number of guns for the short, this is the first. I am confident that I can get this one down to 1500, there are un-neccesary poly's in the chamber. Any crits about anything weird looking would be good, I don't know that much about guns. I'm going to Normal Map the chamber mechanism, but there will be relatively little normal mapping on this one...

The revolver is now 1492 triangles.



Stylised (slightly cartoony) FAMAS with scope.



Grenade. Low-poly version is 250 Triangles.

I really like the cartoony view of the Famas. The grenade is a new and interesting shape for me to take in, but I like it all so far. Keep it up.

Hey thanks guys. Yeah, I try to only chamfer stuff when it is really neccesary, like on the Socom I am working on now. As for the FAMAS I tweaked it slightly, the main body of the gun above the trigger seemed to 'long' to me so I pulled it up a bit. Here's a Combat Knife...194 triangles I think?



I have a helmet made too, but it's a bit boring looking mesh wise :P
