APU From Tutorial DVD

Hey there, i posted in the noob forum and people said make a WIP thread so here goes.

First ever time using 3ds max really, but really enjoying it which is good. Just some bits are hard to get to grips with.

Thats all i have done so far, but im happy with it. Kind of made a hash of the circle up the top attatched to the "suspension" on the dvd he had a bit and i didn't so i capped it then cut a hole in it, but aah well.

Nothing really interesting atm, just good to document how im getting along

JackyBoy

Well, good luck! I know that for myself, I like to keep things clean. As little verts, edges, and poly's as possible without losing the detail. Keep at it.

I also posted this in my first thread but i thought i would carry on updating this one as its still in progress

Slowly getting there, really looking forward to getting home from work and doing more of it which is good, unlike other things i've tried to learn and just get tired of them, but this is something I really want to do.

Thanks for looking

I haven't managed to update that much recently, due to working a lot!

But I should be updating a lot more now as I have just invested in a Dell 2408WFP 1920x1200 pixels of pure bliss!

Anyway, latest work

It's coming along nicely me thinks!
