Organic Modeling

Here again with another project and lo and behold its not a car. Just want to get some practice with modeling humans. head is not done yet there are still somethings that need to be tweaked im still modeling the ears which is taking me longer than i expected. Crits and comments are welcome.

I can't remember where I saw it but you should check out the "Little Devil" Silo tutorial. I'm working on the Joan of Arc tutorial at the moment and it is going quite well, as far as organic modeling techniques are concerned.

The eras took me a while to model too. They look easy but really aren't. That's what caught me off guard when I did them.

@ragu - hmmm it seems subd forum doesnt have the video on their website anymore, ah well

The face looks too long, the nose too thin, and I think you can optimize your poly flow at the part which connects the nose to the forehead. The eyes are too puffy. Move them back towards the skull. The lower lip is too flat (at least, it doesn't look round). The ears are looking weird because it looks like you have a hard edge where the earrings are. Also, you have too many edgeloops around the eye socket and the nose. I think you can still keep the shape by removing 2 or 3 of those edgeloops. It's a pretty good start. If you don't understand something I said, just ask.

Looking good. Tje only thing is the ears seem to stick out a fair bit, but the do on her so it's all good. :P

they do stick out but im sure once i add some hair to the model it wouldnt be that noticeable...hopefully
