Pump Jack (Oil Drill thingy)

Hey,
I've had some early wip pics but i haven't posted yet. Anyway here's the latest. it's basically those fat things which mine oil and gas.
its for ut3 - 4k tris atm.

Maybe it's the screenshot, but the proportions look off. The "head" looks too big. Do those weights that turn the mechanism clear the bottom platform? They don't look like they do. But that's it. Everything else looks great. It would make a nice addition for the static meshes of UT3.

Hmmmm I would have said the head is too small. The heads on oil nodders are usually quite big iirc. Nice tidy model though.

Thats looking really cool, its something that Ive wanted to model myself but never got round with it.

My only concern is the texture, there seems to be a scratched section that looks like it should go along the edge at the back, but its on the top face instead, if that makes sense?

Is it animatable?

The edges look jagged, but I'm assuming that will be fixed when UT3 starts throwing its lights and bloom on it. Am I correct? It looks like it would fit right in, if I'm on the right thought pattern.

the edges are jagged because its a screen-grab from whatever program hes using, not a render/screenshot from a realtime engine
