Audi R8 W.I.P

This is my first major model project with Maya. Just started to learn it a couple months ago and I think I like the way it turned out so far.. Still making tweaks. My main complaint is that the car looks like fake, cheap plastic in the hdri render. I'm thinking it's the probe I used that's causing it. Let me know what you guys think.

123.jpg is the render with FG and 2nd HDRI probe that looks like butt
x1.jpg is render with FG only
HDRI.jpg was the 1st render I did with FG with the 1st HDRI probe I used and it looked alright
newHDRI.jpg is the one I just rendered now with FG and the 1st probe.

Comparing newHDRI and 123 makes me think it really is the probe that made it look really crappy

Enough of that, if there's any suggestions you guys have go nuts, I'm all for whatever helps me do better.

well i am not sure if this is like a final render or a test render but , u need to smooth it abit and add thickness to the lower part , extrude the edges to the inside r so , but overall i think for a wip and 1st time using a new package u r doing fine keep it up

P.S:the car being sharp and all takes alot of the realism , so lets say u r using the perfect lighting setup and everything is well it will still look not good so work on the model to the end then work on the lighting

Hard to tell in that render but the way the reflections are bouncing at funny angles I would say you might have some polys out of line.

Post a wire frame shot without the smooth modifier on so we can take a better look.
