| | | Dino Attack (again)
Ok, well after killing my other two dino ideas, I've got it down to the two I'm doing. A few velociraptors attacking a triceratops. I still have to do all the zbrush and then rigging and what not, but I'm pretty much done with the low poly modeling in Maya.
The raptor is around 8k polys and the triceratops a little over 5k. I also have to take the camcorder out to film some footage but that can wait... it's too hot outside.   |

i think the scale is a bit off.  
of course... maybe they're side by side, and maybe it's a baby. looks pretty good. maybe make the tri's beak more beaky (sharper)

Yeah, Zerflag, they are actual screenshots of separate files so they look the same here. The triceratops is actually bigger. And yeah, the beak should be sharper. Thanks.

Just to give a sense of scale. The triceratops is around 10ft high, 25ft long. The raptor is almost 5ft tall here... kinda large but compared to the ones in the movie, its just about right. I will tweak the beak later as I have another job to do first. Always gotta work right when you're moving along with your personal projects....  |

Im loving these models and as mentioned the scuplting is still to come. I shall be keeping my seedy eye on this thread.
